Throughout the month of June, two exhibit cases just inside the entrance to Olin Library are showcasing displays titled "Pride in Our Collections" and "Pride in Our Communities," with a focus on LGBT-related materials and resources.
The first case draws on materials from WU Libraries' nonfiction collection, Women's Resource Center Collection (University Archives), and Center for the Humanities Comics Collection (Modern Graphic History Library). The second exhibit case focuses on resources and publications from organizations that work towards LGBT and minority equality in the St. Louis and national communities. Some of these include the Human Rights Campaign, Promo, the LGBT Center of St. Louis, and the Vital Voice.
In addition to the cases, visitors to Olin Library will notice a nearby digital sign highlighting selected ebooks on LGBT topics as well as a magazine rack with resources free for the taking.
