Prizes, green screens, librarians, technology—there's lots to love about Washington University Libraries' upcoming Taste of Technology events in Olin Library.
Showcasing everything from iPads to projectors and offering tips on photography, data visualization, e-book access, and more, the Taste is a chance for all members of the university community to sample a smorgasbord of the technology resources available through the Libraries.
Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to stop by the library anytime from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, and Wednesday, March 19, with library staff and representatives from The Writing Center, STS, Blackboard, and Apple offering demos and information on a diverse selection of topics and items.
"Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy treats, win prizes, and possibly be featured in library promotional videos," says Jaleh Fazelian, librarian for Islamic Studies & South Asian Studies. "We’ll also have a green screen featuring a special, surprise guest."
This event is free and open to the public. For more information contact Fazelian at firstname.lastname@example.org or 314-935-5714.
