Out of the Vault
Stop by Olin Library anytime throughout the afternoon from 12 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, to explore new resources and acquisitions on display from Rare Books & Manuscripts, the Modern Graphic History Library, Film & Media Archive, and University Archives. An open house of sorts, this "Out of the Vault" event will highlight a selection of publicly available resources and recent additions to the WU Libraries collection. It will also include interactive elements such as a photo booth and buttons, and librarians and curators will be on hand during the event. For more information about Out of the Vault, contact Nadia Ghasedi, head of the WU Visual Media Research Lab, at email@example.com.
At 8 p.m. on Friday, January 17, all are invited to view a selection of visual treasures from inside WU Libraries’ film vault at a unique archival screening to be held at MELT, an eclectic, upcycled eatery in the heart of St. Louis. This event will feature everything from educational films to burlesque acts. Drink specials and MELT’s specialty waffles will be available for purchase. For more information and updates, check the Facebook event page.
Both events are free and open to the public.
