A number of comments the Libraries received on the Service Quality Survey related to difficulties finding known items in the Catalog, and other catalog-related issues. To address these concerns, the catalog tab in the search box on the Library website has been redesigned. We've provided radio buttons to select each catalog, arranged in order of increasing scope. We've renamed the Catalog as the Discovery Catalog, and placed it second, as it is broader in scope than the Classic Catalog. Also, the Word Cloud is hidden by default; if you want to view it, click the Show Word Cloud button when viewing the Discovery Catalog. We've moved WorldCat onto the catalogs tab. A "What is this searching?" link provides a summary description of each catalog's content.
