Q: Do I have to export my RefWorks data?
A: Yes, if you would like to keep your data accessible after June 30, then you must export your data.
Q: Why are we adopting Zotero and Mendeley?
A: Citation management has evolved since RefWorks was first developed. We would like to expand our support to two progressive software projects instead of just one. Both Zotero and Mendeley offer simplicity and requested features that make them excellent choices in managing research.
Q: Do I have to use Zotero or Mendeley?
A: No: there are many applications for managing your research. If you prefer to use EndNote, Papers, or other software, you will be able to use your RefWorks data with the majority of research management applications. In order for WUSTL Libraries to provide consistent support we dedicate our knowledge and services to two applications.
Q: What if I want to coninue using RefWorks?
A: To continue using RefWorks you will need backup your account by June 30, create a new individual subscription (requires subscription fee), and restore your backup file. Instructions can be found online:

Q: Are WUSTL Libraries supporting EndNote?
A: EndNote has only been selectively supported due to the fact that the majority of schools on the Danforth Campus do not have site licenses that cover students and faculty. Select departments and schools which provide EndNote to faculty are responsible for providing full support. We will answer EndNote questions to the best of our ability, but we do not offer full support for EndNote.
