Math New Books will be on display for two weeks at the Math library.
New books are available to borrow after the display is changed. If you
wish to reserve a new book, then please write your name on the slip in
the back of the book.
Please visit https://scholarlycommunications.wustl.edu. This site features many new resources, several of which I hope will expand and become more useful as you send in comments and questions. I know there are plans to enhance the Authors and Copyright section with answers to FAQs. The Author Addenda section includes a new interactive WU Author Addendum form ; even if you don't want to use that form, it offers language and options which you may want to consider the next time you transfer some of your rights to your publisher. "Copyright & Publishing" on the library homepage links to the Scholarly Communications site.
Routledge Encyclopedia of Philosophy Online More than 2,000 entries, continually updated and revised, covering 'an unparalleled breadth of subject matter, including Anglo-American, ethical and political, cross-cultural, interdisciplinary, continental and contemporary philosophy.' According to their press release, ArXiv reached a 500,000 articles milestone in early October. "arXiv encompasses publications in physics, mathematics, statistics, computer science and quantitative biology. Researchers upload their own articles to arXiv, and they are usually made [freely] available to the public the next day."
These are searchable at https://arxiv.org or in several subsets available from that page, such as, Mathematics, Nonlinear Sciences, Statistics, or Quantitative Biology.
