Publishers respond to NIH Public Policy requirements:
- Springer: NIH compliance/Author self-archiving policy: Springer Policy on Self-Archiving
- American Chemical Society (ACS): NIH Policy Addendum [this seems to apply to all ACS journals except Journal of Natural Products and Biotechnology Progress]
- American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB): Two Important Changes and a Reminder for Authors [Update May 1: The JBC link isn't working for me any longer and I still don't find this information on their instructions to authors resources so the same info is on the JLR site http://www.jlr.org/misc/Publishing_Options.shtml and the MCP site http://www.mcponline.org/misc/Publishing_Options.shtml] (Journal of Biological Chemistry, Molecular and Cellular Proteomics, Journal of Lipid Research) - ASBMB will submit for authors but there is a fee of $50 for this service for non-ASBMB members
Libraries and others respond to the NIH Public Policy:
- Help With Compliance With the NIH Public Access Policy
- Common misconceptions about the new NIH open access policy | An open access mandate for the National Institutes of Health
- I continue to update the NIH Public Access Policy information links
